"Hi, my name is Ilse Anahi but for the most part people call me IV. I'm originally from Colima, Mexico but I grew up in Southern California. In 2010 my family and I moved to Eugene and I have been living here ever since. I feel very blessed to have both my parents, my two younger sisters and my amazing husband with me. I love eating out and trying new restaurants, going to the movies and traveling to Mexico; Cancun is by far my favorite spot. I received my Bachelor's in Communications from Western Oregon University. Shortly after receiving my degree, I began working for EEP. I started as a Teacher assistant in September 2018 and after two years I became the Lead Teacher for the Danebo Classroom. I love my job! Working with kids is my passion. I love teaching, helping them learn and watching them grow.
Hola mi nombre es Ilse Anahi pero la mayoria de las personas me llaman IV. Yo naci en Colima, Mexico pero creci en el Sur de California. En el 2010 mi familia y yo nos movimos a Eugene y he estado aqui desde entonces. Me siento muy bendecida por tener a mis dos padres, mis hermanas menores y a mi asombroso esposo conmigo. Me encanta comer fuera y tratar restaurantes diferentes, ir a las peliculas y viajar a Mexico; Cancun es mi lugar favorito para visitar. Yo recibi mi licenciatura en comunicacion de la escuela Western Oregon University. Poco despues de recibir mi licenciatura, empeze a trabajar para EEP. Empeze como asistente en Septiembre 2018 y dos anos despues me converti en la maestra del salon en Danebo. Amo mi trabajo! Trabajar con ninos es mi pasion. Me encanta ensenarles, ayudarlos aprender y mirarlos crecer."

"My name is Lizette Vasquez-Contreras. I started working at Preschool Promise in September 2022.
I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. I don’t ever imagine myself living anywhere else because I truly enjoy it here! My family is from a small town in Oaxaca, Mexico which I frequently love to visit whenever I get a chance. I have 2 older sisters, 1 younger brother and a cat named Pluto. I graduated at the University of Oregon. I received a bachelor’s in Family and Human Services and a minor in Latinx Studies. I love to spend time with my family and garden. My favorite thing to plant are sunflowers! I also love to scrapbook, go to the movie theaters, and ride my skateboard around." |
"My name is Aime E Alvarado. I've worked with EEP since 2021. I'm part of a family of 7. I am the youngest of 5 siblings. I moved with my family to Eugene Oregon in 2005 at the age of 2 from Anaheim, california.
I love to drink tea and coffee. I like avocados, guavas, honey, the fresh air and the beauty of the outdoors. I enjoy good music, taking naps and most of all, being together with my family. I do my best every day to work hard and always try and never give up. I hope to contribute the best of my work towards doing good things in the world." |
"My name is Sarah White. After traveling and living in several western states, my husband and I decided to make Eugene our home 20 years ago. I have a 19 year old son and a 16 year old daughter.
After many years working as a stay at home mom, I began working for the 4j School District as a substitute Educational Assistant. This work provided me the opportunity to work with all elementary school grades but my primary focus was working with Kindergarten classrooms. In the fall of 2019 I began working for EEP in their Danebo Preschool Promise classroom where it became clear that preschool was the perfect age group for me! In my free time I love taking care of my flower and vegetable gardens, walking my two dogs and watercolor painting." |
